D.S.O.
Astrophotography is a fascinating branch of amateur astronomy. In few words, it's about photographing celestial objects: from little asteroids to huge galaxies far, far away… Astrophotography is a subject with many subcategories. My favorites are D.S.O.’s, where D.S.O. stands for Deep-Sky Object, an astronomy term used for any astronomical objects, observable in the night sky, and not belonging to our solar system such as stars, nebulae and galaxies.
MOOFUSHI KANDU
There is a special dive site on the west side of Ari Atoll, at the end of Moofushi the kandu where at -42 m there is a large drop-off that overlooks the Indian Ocean. Here, thank to the richness of nutrients brought by currents, it is possible to admire an incredible variety fishes like giant trevally, barracudas, jaks, manta rays, eagle rays and sharks.
